Does anyone have any experience with tinting the plexiglass on an Ultima GTR? Thanks.

I've been told that the tinting the side windows doesn't work real well as they bubble. Perhaps others have a different material that works well?

The side windows already have a coating on them, tinting can't be done as they curve both ways and a tinting sheet won't adhere, possibly find out where they are produced and have it done in the production process ??

How about the spray tint offerings..though they sound like a nightmare to get an even effect.

I'm sure there's someone on here who supplies tinted GTR side glass - anyone care to step forward!

You are also limited to the amount of shade you can go to legally, and believe it or not the traffic police carry a tint chart with them and if you are over this you are issued with a ticket and given a limited period to get it rectified, is it all worth it ?

I just need 90% tint. By having a little tint on the screens, it makes the car look better due to having a continuous flow of color from the red body gelcoat. It looks empty without a tint.

have you thought of line stickers like on the peugeot Le Mans car..

If you look closely from the outside the windows are actually bigger than they seem as they have covered the top part of the windows with stickers in the same colour of the car yet they are not solid stickers but sticker/gap/sticker/gap etc etc..

The limit is 70% but you will be surprised how little tint that is.
My Dakar nearly failed SVA on tint and I thought they were clear.

Hi Wayne, I had an idea about the tint and doesn't require any film at all. It's probably the samething you're offering. Do you sell tint for the windscreen as well? Thanks.

We can only use tinted side screens made from Plexiglas over here, there are no tinted laminated screen options I am afraid.
