is it just the needle on the speedo that has stopped working or does nothing work on the gauage? if its just the needle not working, i would consider replacing the speed sensor http://www.thetvrshop.com/TVR/Parts_details/TVR%20... or check the one already fitted to your car as it might have moved, take it out give a clean and re-fit, you never know might just do the job. it sits at the rear of the diff by the offside rear driveshaft, disconnect wiring plug, undo the larger locking nut first (26mm spanner i think), then wind the sensor out from the nut at the back of the shaft (19mm). when refitting use a piece of paper to gauge gap between sensor and driveshaft.

You could send it to Speedy Cables in Wales to get fixed.

My speedo sensor was replaced last year and it's playing up already. Get it off clean it before you fork out for a speedo. Steve Heath does an upgrade sensor but I don't know anyone whose got one to recommend. You could try this first. Think his are about £85.

All the sales have been to Griff/Chimaera owners so far... but I developed the original for my Cerbera after it developed a habit of eating sensors. Been running now for about 14 months. The pictures on the website, including the test modes, were all taken from my Cerbera.

There has been a discussion on the Chim page... http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

I used them about four years ago, when I had to repair a speedo from a care starting with P. At that time. their turn around was about three weeks.

Did you get one of the oil temperature dials in the group buy? I though that was a Speedy Cables product?
