Interior design software

Hello!

I've just purchased a flat to renovate which is a total wreck currently. I want to produce a visual design before starting work so I can get a finish I'm happy with and that's consistent across the flat.

I was going to try to do this by hand, but does anyone know of a decent bit of software that I could use/learn that's not too pricey please?

Try google sketch up. It's a bit limited but easy to use.
