S1 Heater

Has anyone fitted a new heater to a S1
can i do it without taking out the dash
i can see it if i take out the side panel
but will i come out though there.

Might just be possible, maybe, if you disconnected dash by air inlets and behind/between the seat and pulled it out of the way at least you wouldnt have to disconnect wiring heater etc BUT its a big basd

I don't know if this is useful - someone posted it a while back (Magpies?) and I shamelessly nicked a copy.

I'm afraid thats how it will look if i try to take out
the dash and brake it
