Seat spacer washer removal

Gents

Have any of you removed the spacer washers on your T350 seats? For some reason I have a lot of space between the drivers side seat and the roll bar and no space between the passenger seat and roll bar. I find the drivers seat leans in too much although they both have the same amount of washers fitted!

Having a feel around i can see there is a nut on top of the bolt at the front of the seat but is there one at the back???

I would like to do this whilst the seat is still in the car if possible so i can get the number of spacers required correct.

I took the seats out and removed all the washers. Even then the seats still lean a bit (must be the floorpan). You really can't get them off without removing the seats. It does stop that feeling you get of leaning on the transmission tunnel when you're driving though, so is worth it.

Hi,
I took the passenger seat out of mine to fit a hide away unit underneath. At the same time I thought I would add some spacers to increase the clearancs on the roll bar. My washers were fitted under a nut which just turned with the bolt. The other end on the bolt, I assume, is under the seat covering so not really accessable.

Yes, I had to 'modify' the under seat area to get the washers off too - hence why you need to take the seats out. Not sure I'd want the seats any higher, but I guess you could take some washers from the outside and put them on the inside to level it a bit while not really raising.

I've thought about doing this but doesn't the top of the seat rub against the roll bar even more?

I suppose if you are short/have the recliner upright it may, but I am extra tall and have it all the way back and reclined. Might be easier to mod the trim panel - the roll cage is a bit back from the trim if you push it.
