Kitchen ideas

Looking for some ideas for kitchen colours for a house we're buying.

Currently it has light laminate floor, white kitchen units and a dark 'granite effect' laminate top. Walls and ceilings are a matt 'off white' (probably used to be pure white!).

We like the kitchen units, so they will stay white. We're thinking of changing the worktop to a proper granite surface, and changing the laminate floor to dark grey slate tiles.

Looking for ideas on wall colours which might go with the above - it needs to be reasonably light, as the kitchen isn't the biggest. It does get a lot of natural light though.

Very similar to my kitchen - we've got 3 walls in white, and the wall behind the cooker hood as a crimson feature wall. Works well IMO

we have mojito green (lime green), looks better than it sounds!
