Looks more like Benidorm than Le Mans.

I can see why so many people think Le Mans has become a st sideshow for revellers with a few quid to burn.

Don't get me wrong, this years trip for me was the best ever out of the 4 trips I've made. I just wonder why these pissheads don't stay on the fringes of run down coast towns in the UK instead of travelling all that way to annoy folks that generally avoid run down coast towns in the UK.

fk me, am I getting old ? scratchchin

or are the general public getting more annoying..

I think its the latter.

I'm only 19 and think that all that stuff was complete stupid. Why waste tyres, theres not exactly any skill to doing a burnout either, anyone can do one, even my fiesta.

I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if there wasn't all the "do a burnout else we'll chuck crap at your car".

Yes, we saw the F1 RIP guy with his placard wandering around behind the ACO grandstand. It certainly triggered a flurry of text messages back home from us to find out what he was on about!! Turns out he was "in the know" a week early!

Other than our campsite turning into beiruit on sunday night with folk burning all that they own, i didn't notice many of the dog on a string types, but then again, we didn't go near any of the mad friday burn out crap - i can see the fun side, but having read the reports of piss throwing and the intimidation from previous years, it just didn't appeal. A saunter round the museum and then a few beers before during and after the drivers parade in town was perfect - came home happily tipsy, had seen a lot of nice cars and had banter with a lot of petrol heads.

Then again, maybe i am just becoming an old bugger too, and im only 22 frown

I always like to nip out to the Great British Welcome at St Saturnin on Friday. Coming back it's getting harder & harder to avoid these idiots, especially in an open topped car where you can only lock the doors with the key from the outside!

It gets to something when you have to plan your trip, or cancel it altogether due to the stupidity of the few frown
