yep forgot that, slicks only for this car, so now you can go on the chart only if you are a celeb and you bring your ride with you............
In true Ferrari fashion, they 'bend' the rules so they can win!Non road legal car, slicks with an insistence on using their 'own' driver. Oh, apparently that FXX is Schumachers 'own' car.
Harldy a surprising result.
Standby for next week's announcement that the 'usual' Stig is back in the seat

Rush Performance offers a 880hp supercharged LS7. Does anyone from the states know of an engine tuner that supercharges LS7 to about 850hp and similar amount of torque? Also, would like to know of available gearboxes for the LS7 that can handle 800+ lb of torque and possibly sequential.
My Ultima GTR will have about 450hp but boy that extra 400hp will be Fing! insane!!

Wait, so that means, that'll possibly let an Ultima on their track...
I doubt it. They don't recognise it as a 'production car' despite factory Ult's outselling the likes of the Caparo T1 by about 1000 to one.Edited by Stig on Monday 22 June 14:34
as much as i can't stand him, i think that Mr Schumacher's skill and prowess at the driving lark have helped to get that time. would the real Stig have got close to it?
I don't know who did the Ultima lap but perhaps Schumacher could shave some seconds off it in an Ultima.
you could see all through the lap that it was going to be 'Ultima' quick but it is such a shame that we can't see a fantastic British product showing the world what the Ultima can do.

£1million Ferrari with Schumacher on the show, or £50k virtually unknown british kit car.
Brad Pitt or bloke from local theatre.
It's all about viewing figures.
For what it's worth, I don't think a similarly powered Ultima would be as quick as the FXX. I think put Schumacher in a Caparo and it would be quicker than the FXX.

probably not the right message that you can get a supercar at this price level, better test cars that are beyond the reach of most, attracts obvioulsy more viewers than the idea of actually not only watching but driving yourself
Clarkson depends on the manufacturers lending him cars for his jollies so to do something that spoils the link between price and performance isn't something that the big manufacturers would want.Hence IMO they'd get in a sulk if suddenly a pure simple performance machine went quicker than their heavy complex expensive offerings.
Saying that Caterham did very very well last series

Interesting point on dreaming, I hear lots of people dream/go on about this or that, but hardly ever do/plan anything to get it....
