2 Ferrari's on the M6 yesterday...
Discussion
I followed an absolutely fantastic 430 F1 spider for an hour or so yesterday on the M6, it was a slightly lighter shade of red which I had never seen before. So I followed him into the services he pulled into to have a chat. It was the racing Ferrari red, the one they use on the F1 car? I didn't know it existed, you learn something new every day.
Also, we got chatting about the sound, 3.5k revs and it bypasses the silencers? Sounded like he was playing a tune as it changed pitch repeatedly going up a hill. Was great that the driver took some time to stop and chat to me. We both had our roofs down as it started to spit, his advice was to keep driving fast so we didnt get wet
Reg was F1 PNx (won't out exact reg up in case he doesnt like it).
Second was a stunning blue 550 which pulled into the services as I was chatting to F1 man - reg V12 BLx. Awesome car, really classy looking.
Made my afternoon anyway and made my drive from London much more interesting. I also saw the famous Aston/Merc combo 2BE and NOT 2B on my journey to Clapham. Awesome.
Great weekend.
