Just received my new stainless steel exhaust box from JP .. take a look it's pretty tasty.

Spec : 600 MM long, 2 x 2.5 inch input (connecting to a 3 inch) .. then 3 inch straight thru .. to a 3 inch exit.

The bits:

Internals (or lack of smile ):

Something I asked for, was a really shallow box to help with ground clearance .. it's just a fraction over 3 1/2 inches in depth (91mm) prety amazing as it's has 3 inch input and output.

I was just hoping to get it to sound like the sports systems that Gavin and Wayne had / have on their SEAC's..

what's the difference between a stock and sports SEAC system?

Didn't know there was such a thing.

Al, that box does look nice.

Tim at ACT makes the stainless steve special hehe
the silencer is half the normal length and a slightly bigger diameter tail pipe.

After seeing the pic of Rev's new ' box' I think its time I sorted out the connections between the manifolds and the 'box' on mine , manifolds have to come off of course to put new ends on.... , sometimes wish I had a flapper , miss the pops/crackles , lucky Wayne !

Come on Alan, you could have welded that up yourself... wink

scratchchin Somewhere I have the factory drawings for the original V6 silencer courtesy of... of... lord I forget the guy's name, he used to work at the plant that made them.

One of these days I'll have to chop the top out of mine and repack it; I think the wadding left for the coast some years back! The joys of stainless... just a shame my (mild steel) manifolds look like patchwork quilts irked

The difference is :

Stock has a baffle chamber..

What's know as sports is like mine - straight thru with perforated tube.

Thanks Steve ..

The welding quality is superb .. no way I could do it like that .. it's so perfect of the tubes that it must be done by machine.

Ain't it about time you got another SEAC..

Yes - it's still on the back section .. hopefully should work a bit better this time.

Hope that shoulder gets better. What happened - did you throw a uuie in front of a bus ?
