Trying hard to not make it sound like an oscar acceptance speech, so here it goes;

A great big thumbs up to all who attended this years WedgeFest, it would not have happened without you.
Special thanks to all the people and business's who contributed to the organisation and running of the event listed in alphabetical order:

Automedon, sterling service with the breakdown, repair and tech advice to many attendees, BBWF mugs and the stick of Blackpool Rocksmile
Carob, Rob and Carol, finding the venue and huge help in the organisation
Dave Whelton for the runs out
Elite detailing, what a mine of info Glyn was!
Howard Bryan, support and judge for the concours
John Mleczek former TVR employee, who organised the factory visit.
Lawfield Engineering for bringing PW's M racer
Martin Lilley, Concours judge and all round top guy!
Retro Paint, for great advice
Surface and Design
Fred Tong, Sagaris GTF
And many more who contributed but whose name escapes me at the moment.

Damn annoying when things like that happen, but managed to get a lift in Robs SX and my lad was in Phils SEAC for the Prom run so can't really complain.
Engine is now in bits, have bought an intermediate front cover (crank driven oil pump)
so hopefully it will be back on the road in a few weeks unless the crank has suffered damage, then a replacement block will be required..Hmmm 4.2 4.6 or 5L scratchchin

I thought the nose of the crank needed to be longer for the intermediate cover to be used.. cam is different too.. from what I remember when talking to my engine builder.

Hoping to be wrong here.. frown

Just measured mine for you :

101mm nose of crank to block

89mm pulley part only

Worth noting that John Eales sells the crank pulley assembly complete (upgraded part) brank new, not sure of price but about £60 ..
