Hi there.

Does anyone have any information on where I can find a live feed at the rear of my Mondeo for wiring in a white socket to feed the - ahem - caravan?!!!

I have a 2005 Zetec Hatchback and I am assuming the wiring is already in place or nearby!

Thanks.

There is nothing sufficient as a 12v feed for the caravan in the rear.

You need to either run it out direct to the battery or to the rear of the fuseboard.

I fitted a towbar and wiring to my '98 Mondeo 1.8i for my caravan. I didn't bother with the 12S socket. I freeze up my fridge and charge up the leisure battery on the driveway using the 240v cable. When I reach a site I plug into the mains.

Fair point! That's got me thinking!!! When i go to local weekend shows which don't have electric hookups I'll be towing with the Land Rovwer anyway and that doesn't have double electrics! Bugger!!! h well, I've bought the kit now!
