Just thought Id post up some info for everyone regarding servicing.
So far Ive only used Picadors, they have been good, though a little slow in getting the new indicator control units in.

Today on the recommendation of some other people here, plus because they are closer, I dropped my car off at Motorbodies Luton Airport.
Well I got a call back a few hours later to tell me they have ordered a new Power Steering pipe. Hmm thats interesting, I didnt take it in for that issue. They had identified a leak from a visual inspection and had ordered a replacement. Cool!

They also cased out the failed Aircond issue and were going to order up a whole load of parts including a new display face to replace the current one which cuts out or goes purple at various times, more so when its hot.

So, so far so good. Next step is when do I get the parts and how long does it take to fix smile

They also identified low tread on the rear tyres and the front disks were wearing. Though the pads were at 70%... Hmm
Still good of them to give it the once over and sort out some stuff I hadnt identified.

I've always found them to be pretty effective, glad you had a decent experience.

Im assuming you gave them the ok up front to order what ever they need to get? Could be quite a big bill by the look of it?

I think it's all under warranty, hence the visit to a main dealer.

The Guys at MotorBodies are ace....In Jan they repaired and resprayed my wing in superquick time after some pillock damaged it. Simply went in when I was working in Luton and they moved heaven and highwater to get it done within 3days so it was ready for ACE Cafe on 25th.thumbup

All sorted.
New parts obtained and fitted for all things except the facia for the HVAC system on back order (it cuts out occasionally)
Aircond now apparently blowing cold air thank god!

The also checked over the car and fixed the glove box light (first I knew there was one as it must have been dead when I got the car)
Also replaced a powersteering hose which was leaking, which I also didnt know about.

I cant collect till Monday, but so far Im going to have to rate them higher than Picadors based on the identification and repair of the glovebox light.

Will see if its all back together in one piece for Monday. (Ready for the 4th!)
