Am bringing the inlaws to the UK this week, and the father-in-law (he's Japanese) has requested one thing he'd like to do in England is to try a good steak.

Is there anywhere within 30 min's drive of Maidstone that will serve a superb cut of meat, well cooked that will impress a visiting steak lover!

Many thanks in advance,

+1

they do a challenge, a starter, a 32 oz steak chips and ancillaries, and a half a drain pipe for desert with every desert they have in it.

if you win the challenge you get a 30 pound voucher for there and a t shirt.

Went to Flaming Henry's on Sunday night. Great service, and four of us gorging like bds came to £120 including drinks.

If you want something a bit more special, try Deesons in Canterbury. Very good food. Traditional English Restaurant that's only been open a few weeks. Amazing Steaks, and the best rolled pork belly I've ever had yum

I'll even do you a deal on a car to take you all over and back to Maidstone if you want wink
