C4s to Sagaris???

Got my eye on a couple at Castle TVR just wanted opinions on the possible change

Have a 911TT and a Sag in the family.

911 is brilliant. Sag is even better, but so much more difficult to live with as a daily driver. I'm not saying that it can't be a DD....

I have driven my T350 as a daily car for 4 years.before that a Tuscan as a daily drive.Neither have caused any problems and that's in London traffic.

Reliability isn't an issue (in fact here it's better than the Porkers), but it's a bit more difficult to live with on a daily basis. It takes a while to warm up, and you need to be very careful with temperatures. Check oil and water religiously (ih the porker it's a monthly thing).

The Sag is just so special, it almost seems silly to run it as a daily thing, and clock up all the stone chips, the extra milage.... They made around 150 of them, so each one is a rare and special thing. If you get it, use it, but don't expect it to be as easy to live with as the porker.

(But then again saying that, the TVR is taken 10 times out of 10 when there's a choice...)

Had mine for a month now with no regrets just love driving her on the open roads. My 5th TVR and the best but i would not really use her as a daily drive. As already mentioned she just needs a little bit extra TLC

I would never use my Saggy basher as a DD, it's to special for that

im of the other view - a car is meant to be used and I wont have one that I couldnt use daily if required, every day, without worry ....im a driving enthusiast, I like to drive, and i drive about 30K miles a year usually on business and pleasure ......so we had a Sag for about 40 months and did 32K miles in it ...same with my Vantage...and the Tuscan before that..

so yeah, they can be used daily no probs...although they are not as comfy as a Volvo, or as practical as an Audi estate, and they dont lend themselves to short runs around town (we did have other cars for that)

but no major issues...it was on the back of an AA truck once..but that was due to a failed slave cylinder and clutch
