On Sat had been out all day in my Monaro CV8. To cut a very long story short i appear to have lost the key. I still have a spare with the small GM key on it.
My fear is I dropped it on the drive and someone has taken it. This is the only explanation i can think of.
Im thinking i will have to through dealer (Slaters) to get 2 new keys/remote made up. I expect this will cost me a fortune anyone got any ideas of cost?
Should i inform the Old bill/Insureance company?

I expect the dealer will relieve you of over £250 for the job.

Pull out the ECU fuse if you are worried.

Under bonnet. Fuse 16 if it's same as my LS2-engined car.
