I'm going to Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park this weekend. Need recommendations for a good pub near the park. A music venue with some decent ale would be ideal.

Thanks

The Moose;)

Go down kinnerton Street off Wilton Place (S of Hyde Park) - 2 good beer pubs are the Wilton Arms (Shepherd Neame) and the Nags Head (Adnams). Check out the low bar in the Nags Head! Not sure for music, though.

Cheers

The Queens Arms is one of my favourites

Not a music venue but they do plenty of nice ale and some fantastic pub food.

If I were you, I'd park in outer London and take the tube in.

I probably will but I'm sure I heard somewhere that parking's free on Sundays.

There's Shepherd MArket as well. Few decent pubs and eateries in there.

Another vote for Shepherds Market. The Grapes is a 'proper' pub but not to everyone's tastes. Several others in that small area so good for a stroll.

The tapas on Down Street is also worth a snack if you are hungry. (El Pirata)

Good taste wink Although might be a bit too much of a trek to the other side of Hyde park from there after a few!
