Wooo... a tornado in Ireland

Been hearing lots of reports of funnel clouds over the past week.

Finally saw one tonight. I watched it for a good while, forming, fading and reforming....

Seems to be a long way to it.

Apparently they are quite common, i saw what is the opposite, a whirlwind, in Derby a few years back.
Well, i saw say it, i noticed some birds in the sky, which turned out to be newspapers and cardboard boxes lifted so high they were almost invisible, and they sat in a little flock for about 5 minutes, refusing to come down, and even had the odd interested gull coming in for a closer look.
