Stuck nuts

Need some advise,

On the top of my air filter housing, there is a nut (with a washer joined to it) and everytime I try to undo it, it just spins around on the thread of the shaft it's on.

How on earth do I remove it?!

just keep soaking it in wd40 , failing that if you can get some heat on it example blow torch that should do the trick .

anything else fails get angry with it lol

Try a nut splitter.
Or slice down the side of the thread with a Dremel cutting disc.
