3 series roof rack

BMWs one is very pricey! There are some cheapos on Ebay, but has anyone got a decent cheapish one they can recommend

Also, is it the same roof rack for a saloon or coupe?

I've got a Thule roof rack for my 3 series saloon (2008) - works very well. Not especially cheap but maybe cheaper than BMW's own. Have a butchers on here - looks to me like the coupe and saloon have the same fittings.

Back in time when I had an E46 coupe, I bought roof bars from BMW and they were specifically for a coupe. Therefore it is resonable to assume saloon and coupe roofbars are different. I have never bothered with roof bars on the E90 model I now own so can not comment on the compatibility now.

I have an e46 coupe and my BMW roof bars can be adjusted to the saloon, I've used them on both. They can also be adjusted to fit e39.
