Freighter travel

Anyone ever done this - I'm looking at travelling to Oz via this method prob next year - 3 months or so to get there, via various ports.

I've read most of the books on the subject, but if anyone else has any yarns.........

I met a couple of guys doing this when I was in Shanghai. They were making their way to Sydney and seemed to be enjoying themselves. I'd be interested to know how it goes as it is something I've considered in the past

Keep you posted Don - Fairly limited in options to Oz - Probably go with French crowd CMA-CGM via Panama Canal.
