Boiler leaking water??

Just noticed that my combination boiler is driping water from the bottom and i mean enough to fill up a fruit bowl that very luckily was stored underneath it!! should i be concerned is this a major safety issue??

Might be worth checking if it is the filling point? Mine has a hole in the bottom where I have to fit a special 'tool' when topping up the system (due to some rule about having a combi permanently connected to a mains water fed). Mine can drip if I haven't turned the top up valve off properly.

If not, maybe call a plumber while it's warm as they'll be less busy than in October when you might need the heat on.

Mine did exactly the same thing and it turned out to be a valve at the top that's supposted to let air out of the system. The valve was closed and no more dripping. Also, no more funny noises (I think it was letting air into the system too).
