Following on from the utterly brilliant evening we had today at WSR, a number of us thought it would be a great idea to go and see them race at the last race of the season, which is on the GP circuit at Brands.
I've checked the BTCC calendar, and excluding the next race at Snetterton (from which I reckon some of us are permanently scarred), and the one after at Knockhill (not exactly round the corner), the next (and final) 3 races are as follows:
Silverstone: 30th Aug
Rockingham: 20th Sep
Brands Hatch: 4th Oct
So, are we on for Brands on the 4th of October? Or does Silverstone sound better? Or Rockingham for that matter?

Well as I'm at every single meeting I just voted for all three!
I'm usually pretty busy "working" but I'm sure I'll have time to meet up at some point.
I would say though Brands is very poor if you want to go and see the team, The BTCC paddock is only accessible with VIP passes. In all other ways its a nice venue though, especially as that round will be using the full circuit. It will be the first time since 2005 that the BTCC has used it. Rockingham is excellent for watching racing as you can see the entire track from the stands. You can alos view the pitlane from the roof of the garages. Many people think it is a bit of an emotionless, clinical venue though. Silverstone is very accesibile but has lots of high fences. The national straight is good for anyone wanting to take photos though.

Rockingham or Silverstone would work best for that. Brands would be a nightmare, passes are really hard to get. Unless people don't mind paying one of the smaller teams for hospitality? Team Sunshine.co.uk offer this for £125 pp.

Brands is quite a popular event so the passes tend to go extra quickly.
