Just paid for and downloaded this but can't get it to work.

I have completed the game, watched the final cutscene and been returned to the title screen after the credits but now what?

If I go to 'Continue' it just returns me to my last save just before the end.

If I go to 'Downloads' it is there listed as 'Fallout 3: Broken Steel' but nothing happens when I click on it?

What the fk, this is pissing me off.

On the Xbox?

Have you tried restarting the game, perhaps it's not loading the extra content at the beginning, before clciking continue. You may need to remove the add on and re-download it, you don't get charged again for this though.

Dont think you can do any other quests once you start the final one.

Start a new game, or load an earlier save prior to starting the final quest.

When you get to the start menu when you first switch on / load the game, does it bring up a small green pop up box that says loading new content?

Maybe try downloading it again?

Broken steel changes the ending, even with games that you had completed.

Where does your save start you from? If its an autosave as you enter the Project Purity control room it probably won't work as there's no time for the content to load. When you go into your save you should get a notification (usually takes a minute of so to appear) saying Broken Steel loaded, level cap raised.
