Removeable Windows

I've done a search but came up empty. Has anyone installed removable side windows? Do you have pictures?

I'm considering removing mine (glued in) and installing them so that they can be taken out easily.

Hey Shane,
I've bolted mine in but I really like the look without bolts because it really cleans up the lines of the car. I have to have removable windows for the track days we run.

saw nice pictures of one in the states where they bolyed in the 4 corners on the inside.....only problem was when in they leaked air all the time....

My car has the side windows bolted in, detailed photos are on the USA website. If they didn't have one sided adhesive foam tape applied they would leak...but the foam is there and they don't leak air or water. I used the same foam tape on the headlight covers and they don't leak either. The tape is 1/16th thick and 3/8th's wide. I bought it from Tom Brown, Inc. in the USA.

Highly recommend doing this.

did anyone look at the ferrari arround top gear track last week with shuie driving... if you did, did you spot the sliding windows........just an idea..

thats the idea... we have them on lotus cortinas and healeys at the workshop.. great idea, just if they can do it on curved plastic rather than flat??

Well, from the picture and text on the site, looks like the plastic and opening is curved.
