True Stories: Another virtual world.... on More4?

Really very enlightening. I am astounded how much geeks have developed, and am now a bit fearful of them! If you missed it i am sure you can have a look on 4 O.D, it will probably be repeated soon anyhow, but one to look out for. I sky+ it and watched it this morning, I was shocked by how much i have seemingly missed, these people seem to be enjoying the cutting edge of social interaction, i just dont have the time though........ oh well back to the real world.... or is this it....?

LOL, I knew it was on but was busy doing something else as my post states, I was just curious what it was about, as these programs are usually full of rubbish and conjecture and never actually speak to the (sane) people who play these types of social interaction games

Too complex to really explain, but essentially a précis of the virtual world, the laws, governing factors, principals on which the platforms have been founded, etcetera. Explains religion quite well, by looking adjectively at the human function and the need for belonging. Defiantly informative. (And a little bit concerning!)

I caught the majority of it. Fascinating how the evolution of these virtual societies so closely paralleled our own, from indididualism to tribalism, then developing into a feudal system, which all-too-often became oppressive and dictatorial, leading to an armed revolution. All in an online world.
