Anyone got any nicknames for specific models of bike? I don't mean pet names you have for your own machine.

Some examples I hear/use...

TDM : tedium
Deuville : Dullville
FJ/FJR : Fudge
Multistrada : mutliugly

Ducati: bag of spanners paperbag

Are they're any good acronyms in the same way that there are for most car manufacturers, eg:
Fix Or Repair Daily
Fix It Again Tony
Loads Of Trouble, Usually Serious
Bavarian Manure Wagon
Always Under Diagnostic Inspection

Oh and I think there's a Kawasaki (?) triple 2 stroke (maybe...?) that was nicknamed the "kettle" I believe as it boiled the radiator water a lot? I may have made most of that up, but it's something like that!

Sold biking to my other half on the idea of a petrol and money saving 125 scooter, maybe 8-900 quid.

So I actually bought a Varadero for £2,600 wink

The 'Kettle' was the Suzuki GT750 two-stroke triple of the mid-late 70's.

And 'Elsie' was the Yamaha 'Liquid Cooled' 250/350 of the same era.
