Fota have won part one with the FIA, but who is going to be his successor?
A few names in the pot already I suspect, and I know its been touched upon in previous threads, but who do you thinl its going to be. Who would we like it to be and who DONT we want it to be?

I think he would be excellent.

However, he has stated in the past that he wouldn't because he couldn't deny being partisan (and felt that anyone else who'd as strong an association with a single team would be in the same position) which is honest and laudible. Sadly I suspect at least one of the 'candidates' that come forward won't be so honest!

agree with that 100%, he would be great for the job, but would never do it.

Not sure about Jackie, good man, but I fear not politically sharp enough to deal with the job.

I would like to see somebody like Palmer take it on, ie. somebody with decent commercial experience, politically articulate, massively motorsport aware, etc.

It was fairly public knowledge he didn't want to move upstairs and away from the team, but did. The Italianisation of the team last winter was the end for him. He has been seen floating around a few of the the F1 paddocks this year. But the FIA is much more than just F1. Which probably means he's a shoe in.
