Was over at RT racing recently and saw a tuscan race car being modified to take the 6+ litre winston cup race engine... V8 Tastic it looks and sounds like an absolute monster.

Anyone that drives this beast is clinically certifiable, or stupid, but i also imagine will be grinning from ear to ear from the moment they fire it up.

Nice work Mr Thorpe

And "more torque at idle than griff 500 at full chat" I seem to recall.

I think the idiot driving it will be Richard himself.

And I'll be the idiot wishing it was me!

Indeed the same torque on idle as a griff 500 at full chat... and if I could afford one I would have it but knowing what the engine cost to build caused me to make a big mess of the back of my pants and it did not smell nice.

However I have booked myself into richards passenger seat for the trip to zolder in "THE BEAST"

If you're able to say I would be interested to know what it cost. I've just bought a 4.2 AJP for my Tuscan so would like to know how the prices compare.
Thanks

more than your tuscan cost let alone the 4.2 AJP engine, although I am pretty sure Richard didnt pay the ticket price on it......

The engine is a DART Winston Cup NASCAR engine full spec
