Getting cable TV

Moving into a new house, when I went for a view I couldnt find the cable box. According to virgin i am in the cable area, how do i get the box in my house?

Do you mean the set-top box or the box where the cable physically enters the house?

Not that it really matters, in either case just phone Virgin (or order online) and they will arrange for a technician to come and sort it out for you.

Be warned though that just because your postcode is in a cabled area that doesn't necessarily mean your house\flat is, as a couple of my friends found out the hard way...

If you've got a mate in the area then get them to recommend Virgin to you and mention it when you sign up.
They get cash credited on their bill, which means beers for you.
