Show will be on on Sunday - great bit of filming
... and tbh I was surprised at the lap time it got
I think some of the die hard Ferrari fans will be in for a bit of a shock with which car it drew with

Can't wait to see this episode, they also pitch it against the Veyron, F1 and 722 don't they?

I was there yesterday as well. Detailing on the SV was nice to see up close although I was slightly puzzled why the blacl on the bodywork was in Matt yet the black wheels are gloss which seemed to clash but hey thats pretty minor.

I also had a chat to the Mclaren chap that was looking after the F1 on display, very interesting indeed.

Will be a good episode to watch on Sunday for sure smile

I think Drivers Republic took it around Silverstone quicker than a 997 GT2 which was remarkable for a car of the Murci's size.

They ask you not to take pictures during filming for obvious reasons... Other then that they have nothing to hide.

Did you notice the guy who owned the Veyron - looked about 20 year old

Yup it's Tom Chilton (Touring Car fame). Lucky man and nice plate on it also.

I think he works for Top Gear, well, makes appearences, i doubt he owns the Veyron though i could be wrong. Read an interview a while back when he spoke about doing high speed runs in a Veyron for Top Gear.

Probably not - I notice that Tom is meant to be one of the "Stig" drivers they use
He certainly knew the Director of the program as they were talking for a while

When ever I've met him he's come across as a bit of a knob, but maybe I've always caught him on bad hair days smile

is that really so surprising with 7 years evolutionary development on a road going vehicle (with a couple of years before that in development i expect)

how much power, weight, old is the enzo?

for some, having the enzo will mean more than paying 4 x as much - be there intentions of having the most expensive or enjoying the brand/history
