Protech Damping Adjustment

Does anyone know how to adjust the damping on protech shocks? I know you turn the small black knob at the base of the damper clockwise to increase, but do you have to release any locking screws/nuts etc?

Just turn! Unless it´s seized, then spray with WD40, wait, then turn.
