Moving house today
Discussion
Not too far, about 30km. 2 bed apartment full of stuff.
We've arrabged a full packing service plus the transporting. Already it's become a weary process after an hour. The fellas doing it are typical Dubai. Lots of effort but very little thinking. The place is cluttered, hence the move, but I've had to argue with them to start taking out the big stuff to make room.
It's painfully obvious as they are trying to pack the small stuff in corners and the linited available space. Missus is already hacked off and I'm losing patience.
I know it's going to be a pain but a bit of logical thought would go a long way!

are you just using the Dubai equiv of "man and van" or are you using a company like Crown or Helutrans?
Either way, much like Singa, there is NO WAY that i would move myself in this heat and humidity, unlike back in the UK!!!

It's all in hand. More than happy to let them get on with it.
Was just a little frustrating watching one of the blokes trying to pack 100's of books from the book shelf with a dining room table and a sofa in the way.
Oddly enough, once they were out the way he had a rather easier time.
They're good lads, had plenty of chai.
One of them has two thumbs from the first joint on his right hand. Gave me the willies when I saw it!
