With the exchange rate as it is at the moment you're probably best off buying one thats already in the UK with some history.

Why are you after an import s14a? s13 and s15 import I can understand, but s14?

Plenty of good examples already in the UK!

Depends on what your looking for. I'd look for something fairly standard and as low miles as possible! That sort of money should get you something very tidy! with change!

The thing with these is unless your looking to Drift I'd be wary of any modified examples for this reason alone!

They are good though to drive sideways! And almost bomb proof to boot (if looked after)

As above, 9 time out of 10, it simply isn't worth bringing anything over at the current exchange rates.

You're probably best off posting on SXOC, someone there can probably point you in the right direction smile

if you have bit more cash I might be selling mine soon, ive spent the last 2 years effectively changing everything on the car including the subframe, so apart from the paintwork its a brand new car! Might be moving to Australia hence why I might be selling it.

But yeah, SXOC is your best bet. Id buy off a member there rather than from a stealership any day.

Personaly I would buy a modified one from someone on SXOC.

You will save a lot of money in the long run cos it won't stay standard for long. The advantage of doing it yourself is what you learn along the way.

If you buy off a member you can search on member posts to see the history of the car, as they will have almost certainly have posted any problems.

I would suggest you give a certain trade center a (very) wide berth. SXOC or Driftworks is probably your best bet.
