Just had a German mate point one out to me on mobile.de

At first glance,I didnt think this was genuine lamborghini.More likely 'chop' done by some other couch builders.

A bit of googling reveals it is actually a factory model. An extremely rare beast indeed.

Anybody know of the numbers made? / Seen one in the flesh?

cheers

Never but wouldnt mind a photo.

I gather there are a couple of very rare one off Diablos that the factory made, one of them being a roadster but i cant remember what was so different about it.

seen a lot of them but not sure how many made. A few guys on here own them and if you have specific questions may be best to private them
think diablopete may be best bet. There is a lot of stuff on them by looking about
May want to check Lamborghini regsitry for chassis numbers and if this model is on it

Would be amazed if anyone on here owned an SV roadster - think you are thinking of a VT roadster?

SV roadster was only made in very small numbers - 5 were built per the registry

The registry has the 5 listed as:

1998 Blue
1999 Midnight Blue
1999 Red
1999 unknown
unknown

There is an orange one out there in loads of pics on google images, so that leaves 1 more, so 1 of these is real, the rest fake:

http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/showDetails.html... - I'm guessing maybe this one is fake, going by the extra badges on the front wings...

http://www.sportscarcompany.com/detail-1998-lambor...

http://aussieexotics.com/showroom/classified.php/l...

Or the registry is wrong....

There are apparently 12 SV Roadsters, 5 of which came to Australia, however only 5 of them were legit - the others were VT Roadsters ordered with SV spec, whatever that means.

The orange Aussie car listed belonged to a well-known sports/media identity, but had undergone some customisation.
