Anyone got any experience, do they suffer from lack of roof?

I have driven a normal Gransport but the appeal of having the roof off has got me thinking.....

Never driven a GS, Coupe or Spyder but I own a 2005MY facelift 4200 GT and have driven a fair few early (2002/03) Spyders. Personally they shaked too much for me and the suspension was set too soft to try and hide it. Not sure about the GS and whether shake had improved by then but the GS Spyder will be a rare car.

I've only seen one, yellow one owned by a car club.
Not sure if it drives any better than my 04 Spyder mind, wouldn't mind trying though.

Interesting, Someone at my work has one but I dont know who yet!

There is a really nice one on pistonheads sales for 39K, seems quite good value considering the price of normal GS, but cannot remember a big launch/press reviews on this car, and as it so rare maybe there is a reason.

I suspect if the dynamics are not as good as normal or even 75% of normal GS then you might aswell get a normal 4200 spyder.

Hopefully I will find out whos GS spyder it is at work !

Unlikely to be any worse than the 4200 Spyder isn't it, well actually surely it's better....
Whilst there is a little shake in the 4200 Spyder its not that bad. No Elise though that's for sure.

Dare I suggest trying one?

Indeed, I will try to have a go in the Gransport spyder that I know of at work. As there is only one other one forsale at the moment on pistonheads.

Cheers!
