change of the steering rack

since the frontside of the car is so sensible wich can cause problems driving with high speed.
did anyone ever change the steering rack
i believe that on early tvr's there have been changes to the steering rack of a BMW
anyone ?

I read somewhere that it was a peugeot unit. Would like to find out for sure tho.

I read that having bigger tires up front would improve rideability. I have the 255's all around and my S is very stable at high speeds.
