Identifying a bike
Discussion
I was in a shop this afternoon deciding what to spend my cycle to work scheme money on and the guy showed me a cannondale. It looked the part, a white frame, was light weight, good setup.
There was no model sticker on it, and no price tag. The guys couldn't find it on their stock either. So they gave up and offered it to me for £900. (Conveniently I had said I wanted to include some accessories in the £1000.) I've found a very similar model, the F3, it has the same gearing setup and Avid breaks (I cant remember what version it had) It also had SPD pedals on it. If it is indeed the F3, I'm getting a £1200 bike for £900, quids in. But I find it hard to believe it'd just happen like that, or its not a customer return due to a problem.
Any ideas on other models? I've looked, but cant identify it, as most site only have the 2009 stock, it may well be old.
Do you think it'd be worth getting it if it is a F3? £300 off just doesnt seem like something a shop would do because they don't know the model.
Thanks
