Has anyone or even Ultima factory came up with a different mounting for the foot pedal?

Why would you want to? The current setup works extremely well?!!??!?!

I was waiting for someone else to post because I haven't driven mine yet.
I admit to sitting in it on one or more occasions and muttering ‘Broom Broom’ but I considered the pedal position to be fine.
So, I agree with CJ, why would you want to make extra work for yourself?

Second that. It's also got a little bit of adjustability if you happen to be long/short or whatever. Simple and effective.

The only mod. that I would add is a small 'ridgeplate' in front of the pedals to rest your heels on.

Keeping your legs bent using just your thigh muscles (as you've not got anything to rest your feet against) makes your legs ache on longer journeys.

On a RHD car, you can rest your clutch pedal foot on the passenger footrest too (if fitted).

Agree with this..... but I didn't realise you were so unfit CJ, maybe a few more hrs down the gym eh.
Next you'll be asking for power steering
only joking

I am particularly fussy about pedal position and have spent quite a bit of time getting them right for me, but they are very adjustable..... the 'ridgeplate' is definatelly a good idea if you plan to use the car a lot on the road.

However I do know there was a request into the factory for some hung pedals and they were going to come back with an answer, I'm not sure who it was but they may have done some research or come up with a solution by now.

The request came from a guy with a problem with his leg. May have been artificial, can't remember.
Again, that to me would seem to be the only sort of reason for trying to invent something different.
