I've just got back from the Breaky club this morning. OMG what a turn out. It was better than the supercar Sunday at the beginning of the month. Peter Saywell turned up in a bespoke Pagani Zonda. I got to park on the grid. There were lots of High end Lambos and Ferraris, and I got to leave through the tunnel behind an F40. The weather was superb as well. pics to follow.

Interesting, was there a theme or just anything goes?

The Theme was post 1970s' performance drivers cars

A few here

Does anybody know what was going on with the BIB in the grass carpark? They were loading a handcuffed youth into a car when I left about 9:45. I'm guessing either some bad driving on the way there, or trying to help himself to/from cars?

I can't say I noticed. I hope it wasn't some TWOCer going for an easy kill. He deserves death if he was.

It's the first time I've been to one of these events and it wasn't bad for free. It's a shame everyone turns up really early and leaves so early though. I got there for about 10:15 and there were people leaving already... Here are a few of my pictures: http://www.flickr.com/photos/a4_rnt/sets/721576206...

Its a breakfast club!! Gates open at 7, I'm always in by 8 and away by 9.30. Turning up at ten onwards is actually a bit late. Hope you enjoyed it, I thought today was particularly good, especially as my car got into the paddock - Green RS4 Avant

They are called 'Breakfast' clubs. Kind of a hint in the name...

Been once before. Maybe 07. Wasn't the best, wasnt the worst. Wish the guy from RR would have the common courtesy to stand out of the way of the car though! AND WHY oh why do all Delorean owners think Back to the Future is a cool film?? tongue out Personally I don't even bother trying to get into the themed cars bit. Seems the marshalls have no real idea what they are loooking at. Since when has a Delorean been a drives car or a Clyno or a Citroen SM or a RR Phanthom Coupe for that matter! And as for the Grinall 3 seater nonsense! So I just park in the field. Hi to the 2guys and a girl with the G60 if they are on here.

For me the event is about the drive down there, which was massacred by some half wit in a 4x4 and a Blue Astra estate!(who was going to the event!) PLEASE FFS drive at least at the speed limit! Or have the intelligence to move over and let the queue of high performance cars behind you enjoy themselves! Then the drive back also butchered by a Vauxhall Agila, a Toyota Yaris and the replica Carrera RS driven by 2 old guys with flat caps who would NOT overtake the aforementioned 2 doddery old couples! Despite several safe options to do so. But then given the bloke stalled it at some traffic lights later, so jumped them to get through, tells you all you need to know about that particular Porsche owner...

I'd also like to ban Caterhams, they're everywhere. Like a bad smell. Why not just make 1 Sunday Lotus 7 replica day. tongue out

Somewhat bigoted attitude that rolleyes Same could be said of Scuberushis and all the Nissan GTZR whatevers that there are alway hundreds of despite the theme, may as well say just have one Japanese lad's racer/turbo/type thing breakfast club then ban them? No? thought not! hehe

I would love to know how the Stewards minds work! There was some proper crap cars on the Race track display! along side some stunning cars, all the nice stuff seemed to be pushed away in the car parks confused

I know what you mean. I was stuck behind a car on the way back today.

The limits 60, not 40. It was a dry day, the roads in good condition. The Goodwood to Harting to Petersfield road has good to excellent visibility. So why the hell do they drive 35/40MPH (in the 60MPH limit) on it. I have to say that it really does annoy me but I generally just live with it and over take when I can.

Today though, following a prat doing this. It really did annoy me today. If you can't drive the speed limits, then don't drive on the road. You'd fail a driving test for doing it.

Rant over.

First time I'd been, and was very pleasantly surprised... Loads of nice cars to look at, even though the selection policy for what gets inside is obviously pretty random. The F40 was the highlight for me.

My best photo is probably this one of "some old Jaguar", which was immaculate (sorry, I'm not good on pre-70s cars!)

I had stupidly left my keys on the boot cover, so big thanks to the Good Samaritan who popped them inside the car for me. clapthumbup
