I have this 'plant' growing in the same pot as my fuscia. I'm unsure what it is, I suspect it's a weed but before I execute it would like to know what it is.

It's about 18-20 inches high, has soft green leaves with a 'serrated' edge. It also has a woody stem but is showing no sign of flowering.

If it isn't a weed, it is just remotely possible it is a citrus plant of some kind from a clementine/tangerine pip that might have found it's way into the pot during a drunken moment when the pot was inside the conservatory over winter. Then again.........

You are going to have to repot that to get rid of the Elder, a prince among pernicious weeds if ever there was one. Dont use garden soil when potting plants on.
