Could someone please explain the difference between bookmarking a thread and watching a thread?
Is there any way of being notified by email about new replies to a thread (available if you are the OP but not otherwise)? Are there any plans to introduce this funcionality if it is not already available & I just haven't found it yet?

Bookmarking and watching are both very similar, but used for subtlety different things.
Both of them add the topic to your "My Stuff" but watch adds the topic to the "My Topics" tab (just as if you had replied to it) whereas bookmark adds the thread to your "My Bookmarks" tab for long term reference.
At the moment the only way to track threads you are interested in is to use the watch button to add them to your "My Stuff" section. Only the person who started the thread can receive notifications via email, although we are hoping to make this available to everyone soon.
