XK8 Hood oil

Just bought 98 XK8 which has the old hood oil in it,any one know how to change said fluid so i can have the hood working at some speedfaster than 4 1/2 minutes to raise or lower,any help welcomed

There was an article published in the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club magazine about XK hood oil change some time ago. You could contact them and see if you can buy a copy.
