Has anybody actually bothered to watch it?

As a long time rally spectator,( I remember Roger Clark's first RAC win) I still find it hard not to watch it, even though it is a shadow of it's former days.

I've been following it slightly, didn't bother for the first load of races, just saw the predictable "Loeb wins" on autosport, but the last 2 have been a bit more interesting, turns out he isn't the invincible mega star of WRC he seemed to be in the last few races.
I just wish there would be more manufacturers. Subaru, Mitsubishi to return with Impreza and Evo X, Lancia to return?

I think Loeb is close to retiring, he said a few months ago that he didn't want to drive S2000-spec cars and they are in next year iirc.

I couldn't help laughing at Latvala, he always manages to go really fast then bin it. He did the same thing at the last Rally (greece?) where Ford was on for a 1-2 finish until he drove into a ditch and lost three minutes.

Loeb was bound to decline at some point. It's about time he had a proper challenge!

Petter Solberg was entertaining. Says something about the Subaru when He's getting the same results or better in a three year old Xsara.

Not sure that the rally itself was boring, more the coverage let it down.

I recorded the WRC to just skip past all the BS and the 2 tts bikers, after that is was good watching, bloody Fast Rally, amazing to see the speed the cars can carry on lose ground, and sebastien loeb droped out again which has really change the points standings. Over all bloody Good rally.

what was that all about, and does anyone turning on a TV to watch the WRC really want to watch 2 tt cook a chicken? NO.
