I've just reached prestige levels of COD:WAW and as such am starting to tire of it a little. I'm looking for something to buy and initially nothing jumps out at me saying "buy me!"
I've never played COD4 but am unsure whether it will be worth the money - can it be all that different to COD5?
The other games I'm looking at are:
Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway.
Medal of Honour: Airboune - too similar to COD5?
I'm also willing to try a driving game but I'm not sure what's good out there at the moment. Reccomendations?!

Get that Nazi Zombie on the go, that IMO is far better than the game itself biggrin

COD4 is much better than WAW IMO. If you like online then there are a lot of us playing it still.

Could look at Infamous which I am enjoying at the moment. Ghostbusters is good from what I have heard.

QFT, the Nazi Zombie mode is the most addictive mode ever. Made it to level 19 on the second version of it and 15 on the third. Only played the first a couple times and died quickly because the second and third ones made me arrogant.

Along a completely different vein...

Give Red Faction a go. There's hammers. And it's ace.

Killzone 2 is also worth a look, especially if you liked COD. It's far, far superior to WAW.

I can only get the first level as my ps3 crashes at the same point on single player each time so I can't unlock the others frown

They other modes aren't unlockable - they come with the paid for downloadable content.

Right, thakns for the help folks. I was torn between Cod4 and infamous. I thought bugger it, the new COD is out November, I'll wait for that and get infamous instead. It's great fun!! Perhaps lacks depth but is a good laugh.

inFamous is good fun, bought it the other day, got COD4 as well and just couldn't get in to it. I play FPS on PC's most of the time and i have always found it to be far superior to console FPS games.

I really enjoyed the demo of the Riddick game.

Tend not to play FPS on the PS3 as the PC is so superior.

just got UFC, good game.

COD 4 is still the best game around. COD5 will be forgotten very quickly.
