How frigging young is he?

Put in a performance of a much more experienced guy over the weekend. The boy knows how to drive and race.

More than 30 years younger than Mark Martin!

Well done to Joey and Zippy.

That is a testimony to both of them!

He did indeed, in January.
That's why on his car they've painted his nickname: "The Kid".

That kid has talent, I can see him becoming a multiple champ but not exactly a great way to win your first race!

put in a great performance? not sure about that, being in the right place at the right time is more like it. What happened to NASCAR coming back on the Monday to finish these rain delay races? For sure Logano would not have won had it gone the distance.
Not sure he has shown that great all season, given the car and team he is in and has looked out of his depth at times. Reckon he is in full time cup a year or so too early.

Can we have a *spoilers* in the title please? Haven't seen the coverage yet, and now I don't suppose I need to!

Why *spoilers*?

Don't you read newspapers?
Never looked on Autosport.com?

As for the Kid, I agree - brilliant performance, and great call by Zippy!

The first of many wins no doubt.

I wont read any newspapers or websites that might give away the results.

Its not difficult to avoid naming the race winner in the thread title, and its pretty annoying if you have recorded a race to watch it on Monday only to see the result in a PH thread title.

Exactly. If you can't see the race at the time, and I can't, you try to avoid anything that might give the result away.

So why would I be going anywhere near autosport.com in the meantime?

Other races include the word *spoilers* in General Motorsport for this reason so I don't think it's an unreasonable or unusual suggestion.

Edited to add: this sticky is at the top of the forum for a reason.

Only if 50% of race distance is incomplete

Neither the thread title nor the OP talk about either the race or the result, in fact they dont even mention which race.

Consequently the thread didnt need a spoiler in.

But then some posters who responded to the OP did mention the result, at which point getting a mod to add "spoilers" to the title was warranted.

I'm not having a go at the OP, I was just asking for a heads-up that the result was declared in the thread and that the title was modified accordingly.

I think Joey will be around for a long time to come.

Marketers dream as well.
