GMT II

I am thinking of selling a watch but reluctant to get fleeced on ebay – I have heard too many horror stories! Can anyone recommend somewhere for me to sell my GMT II?

And what should I ask? Its around ten years old, I have had it from new, serviced by Rolex within the last 12 months and has box and papers?

Is it worth visiting Royal Arcade / Burlington Arcade and just taking the best offer?

Model No is 16710, purchased June 1996 and bezel is black and red. Full service was July last year.

I dont want to upset the mods so would stress that this isnt a sneaky advert! I think I will put an ad in the classifieds but would appreciate a guide price.

Sounds VERY similar to one just sold elsewhere at abt 2250 - serviced 09/08

Thanks Peter, slightly less than I thought it would be worth but then I am a little out of touch with values and I suppose it is not the ideal time to consider selling a Rolex.
