I can't remember what you have to do and I've got a new phone and a long drive tonight (and before you say it the handbook is at home)

Ignition on, into Tel Menu, Settings, reset all defaults.

Turn off, back on, search for it on your phone. Should pick it up now.

God knows why it is like that (same in Audi by the way)...

I want to know why mine doesn't pick up my phone's contacts ... annoying!

If it is like the BMW system, have you tried copying them to/from your sim to/from the phone?
