Bikers of PH. I was wondering around the new Trek Store thats just opened near my flat. After drooling at the 6000€ racing bikes i found this beauty. The salesman said it was 555€ but i can get it in the UK for £390.

Now if i sold my city bike and a few chikcen chasers i have lieing around i recon i could raise the funds.

Look at this

Now, it doesnt have mudguards, dynamo, lights, rear rack, bell that are usefull on my commute to the buss stop, but i dont care..... do i do the silly thing and buy it and the hell with a muddy arse at work

EDIT- Mods can you please change the title to Fallen if you see this.

Zoinks! I like that a lot.

i know nothing about bikes, apart from how to ride one, and have been looking for a town bike to yak around London on. This looks just the ticket!

Its personal choice really. Single speed bikes need less maintenance, less parts to go wrong and it makes the whole bike lighter.

What model is it ? I like the idea of single speed - am currently de-gearing my Claud Butler Hybrid...

Thats just like the one I saw today on my ride into work... on a 4way crossing as he tried to get in front of a car turning right.
