Do you really need to update them all the time?

Some stuff i have on an old sat nav system from ages ago, with a speedcameradatabase download added still works for me, as not a huge amount changes over the months.

What's to stop you doing the single month update every 6 months, for a few quid rather than the yearly subscription?

Personal choice. Camera sites change daily - it up to you how much you want to risk relying on out of date data.

Spec's sites on motorway roadworks can change frequently, also I was saved a definate 3 points a few weeks back when going down a local 40mph road at 40 to find my Indago start bleeping and saying '30 GATSO' so I slowed and found that they had changed the speed limit just around a junction to 30.

Lots of people have been caught by that Gatso I would have been too if not for the Indago!

Also doing the 'Evo triangle' 3 of the 4 'risk zones' had active mobile camera vans there! tho to be fair other motorists flashed us well before we reached them!
